Little Black Dress are proud to announce that we are sponsoring the 25th edition of Graduate Fashion Week! Not only will we be judging the Fashion Photography award on Tuesday 7th June, with the winner chosen by Little Black Dress CEO Mark Evans, we have also launched an incredible dress design competition to find the next generation of fashion designer talent! One lucky student will get to have their winning little black dress put into production for sale on our site (full details below). Graduate Fashion Week is set to take place from 5th-8th June in East London's Old Truman Brewery. The event will feature an exhibition and catwalk presentations from schools including University of East London, University of Salford, Istituto Marangoni, Kingston University, Manchester School of Art and Edinburgh College of Art, among others. Graduate Fashion Week is responsible for launching the careers of such esteemed designers as Christopher Bailey, who was the winner of the first ever Graduate Fashion Week Gold Award, Stella McCartney, Giles Deacon, Matthew Williamson and Julien Macdonald. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Graduate Fashion Week, last year the first lifetime patrons were announced - no less than Christopher Bailey of Burberry and Victoria Beckham. This year, the prestigious names announced as the newest additions to the lifetime patrons are no less than Dame Vivienne Westwood and Nick Knight OBE!
