X Factor judge, ex-Pussycat doll, solo artist, Lewis Hamilton’s girlfriend, and fashion mogul- there are many strings to Nicole Scherzinger’s bow and now she’s adding one more as she becomes the face of imPRESS nails. We’ve seen the advert (we’ve coveted the black dress she’s wearing in it too!) now we want to know more about this beauty revolution, as well as Nicole’s favourite LBD accessories and just how she maintains that killer body…
We love imPRESS nails- who’d have thought there were so many different ways to dress up your nails! What made you want to be the face of the brand?
Having great nails is a beauty must-have; so many people put time and energy into getting their hair, make-up and outfit just right, so I see having great nails as that ‘finishing touch’. I’m a very expressive person and am known to ‘talk with my hands’ so imPRESS seemed like the perfect product for me. I also love that they’re SO easy to use and look totally professional.

I love the gel look of Text Appeal which is a really sleek black and so versatile. I also love the patterned Holla! and Space Cadet styles for something slightly funkier but still stylish. You can’t go wrong with a red polish and Tweetheart is a classic shade, but for something darker, Rated R gives a chic mulberry gloss.
And how would you accessorise your nails for your LBD?
It depends on the LBD! I’ve been wearing a lot of rock inspired clothes for my Killer Love tour so would go for something edgy like the leopard print Payback or crackle effect Working Girl. For a more formal evening, the french manicure style Rock It gives a really convincing salon finish.
How do you keep in such amazing shape?
Performing, rehearsals, running around from place to place! If I want to unwind then I’ll do Yoga or Pilates to keep my body supple and strong.
Describe a day in the life of Nicole Scherzinger.
Wow- no two days are the same. I’ve had so many exciting projects from recording my album, to touring, to filming MIB 3 that I honestly can’t pin down one set routine. I just try to eat healthily, drink lots of water and get some decent sleep like any other girl out there. I’d like to say my beauty regime plays a big part of my day, but a simple cleanse, tone and moisturise is all I need. Plus, with imPRESS, I don’t need to worry about salon appointments or nail techs- I’ve perfected the art of applying them and can do it in 3 minutes flat!
You always look so well groomed whenever we see pictures of you or see you on the television. What are your top beauty secrets and tips?
Good food, sleep, water, exercise- those are the basics! I’m lucky to have a team of wonderful stylists who have taught me a few tricks along the way such as how to draw the ‘graphic eye flick’. And of course, I’ve got my imPRESS by Broadway manicure to make sure my nails look in tip top condition.
You always look beautiful from your dressed down day look to red carpet moments. How would you describe your style?
That’s very sweet of you! My day time style is very practical; often a pair of jeans, a blouse and a leather jacket, but I might make sure the jeans are patterned, or wear a hat, gilet, thigh high boot- I’ll accessorise according to my mood that day. For evening it depends- if it’s a red carpet moment then obviously I’ll pull out all the stops, but if it’s a dinner or night out, I’ll wear a cute dress and accessorise with a bold lip and some killer heels. The best thing about imPRESS is that I can switch them up with each outfit so keep your eyes peeled to see which ones I’ll be rocking this summer!
