Olivia is not so ‘Wilde’ in a low-key LBD & leopard print combo
When we say the name Olivia Wilde, Team LBD has no doubt of the associations she draws: Feline piercing blue eyes, sultry dark hair and a to-die-for figure. But surprisingly, the actress (and now big film director) opted for a more subdued look in a wool structural Dolce & Gabbana LBD for The Iron Lady premiere in New York last week. We love the fact that the dress was subtly nipped in at the waist; adding a dash of femininity to create a more tailored silhouette amidst the solid contouring. The neck of the dress sported a very on-trend high popped-up collar and the three-quarter sleeves slightly puffed out at the shoulders adding a little drama to Olivia’s look.
Now, we don’t know if we are massive fans of Ms. Wilde’s new low-key look, but we can agree that she still looked perfectly chic as she teamed the midi dress with low leopard print courts and a flick of eyeliner.
