Will you be joining Karl's Kult?

Karl Lagerfeld is set to reveal his latest collection exclusively on Net-a-Porter in January next year, but the online luxury retailer is holding his pieces captive until you, his loyal fans, join Karl's Kult and hunt them down!

Mr Lagerfeld has never been one to do things by halves – last time we posted about the design guru he'd just showcased his Spring/Summer 2012 collection which featured models in fish-scale frocks, Lily Allen on a haystack and Florence Welch singing in a clam.....

Now Karl is preparing to unveil his latest pieces for Net-a-Porter but the hugely anticipated collection has gone 'missing'. The fashion-focused website is asking 'Where's Karl?' and inviting you to hunt for the missing clothing line. Team LBD are joining the search party, are you?

By joining Karl's Kult you can watch Net-a-Porter's fun newsflash video, 'Live from London', which explains that Karl's collection has been captured by Net-a-Porter and a ticking timer which counts down to the day of release (25th January 2012). In the meantime, five of Karl's looks have been revealed (top image) and Team LBD are more than a little excited. This is classic Lagerfeld: black, white and metallic grey, high collars, buttons, androgynous shapes and tuxe-style jackets. We love the black pleated skirt for a little injection of femininity and the dark sequin tuxedo dress, which both look great with the design mogul's trademark collar.
