Earlier this week we reported on Emma Watson's stunning black Rafael Lopez Dress which she wore to the photocall for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 premier. But it wasn't just Emma Watson who scrubbed up well this week; a whole host of our favourite celebs pulled out all the fashion stops for the movie event of the year. Fashion-savvy stars knew that the world was watching the premier of the much-anticipated, final instalment of the Harry Potter saga last night in London's Trafalgar and made sure they were dressed accordingly. One celeb who really caught our eye was Pixie Geldof. This glam-grunge trendsetter is more at home in a pair of stone-washed shorts, ripped tee and patterned tights, but last night she stepped out of her comfort zone and donned a strapless, star shaped patterned Dolce and Gabbana gown. This dress looked fabulous on Pixie and showed off her stunning figure - by teaming this with killer black peep-toe heels, she ensures that the gown doesn't drown her out. This floor length number really benefits from a flash of sultry shoulder, which (alongside the glitter!) prevents an full-length gown from looking dowdy or drab. Hollywood-icon, bleach blonde hair and achingly beautiful, full, red lips mean that this rock-chic is channeling Marilyn Monroe, rather than Marilyn Manson. Another fan of strapless black gowns is Angela Jolie – and with her perfectly toned arms, why wouldn't she be? If you're thinking of going strapless,  always remember to wear a supportive bra so you don't have any mishaps on the red carpet (or dance floor!). We think that Pixie definitely looks all grown up in her ravishing D&G gown – if you want to recreate her standout style, then peruse our dress recommendations below"¦
