The Weekend's Best Dressed Celebrities
Well, this weekend has been a busy one for stunning celebrity style! Events in both London and LA had the stars out in their droves, looking as glamorous as possible. Here are our favourite celebrities from the weekend: The Downton Abbey cast swapped the period costumes for modern designer deliciousness at the last ever Wrap Party of the series in London this Saturday. Among them were female stars Laura Carmichael and Michelle Dockery. Both women went for a classically refined and feminine theme (their Downton counterparts would be proud), yet each adhered to their own completely different personal styles. Laura opted for a dress that the team here more than approve of, with her sleek fitted LBD with a skater skirt and racer neckline. Pairing it with a pair of pointed strappy red heels, loose waves and matching lipstick made for a playfully pretty outfit. Her onscreen sibling Michelle arrived in a white bodycon dress by Lanvin, accessorising with gold accents. The past week also played host to a number of film premieres - most prominently Max Joseph's new film We Are Your Friends starring Zac Efron and Emily Ratajkowski. It was the latter who stunned in one of many premier pieces on the film's promo tour, but our favourite of all was this David Koma cobalt blue dress with it's statement front split for the London premiere. She showed off her slim figure in this heavily embellished number with simple black heels and a bold smokey eye and we couldn't be more envious. On the other side of the world in sunny LA the Teen Choice Awards was in full swing last night and the celebs were out in true red carpet style to collect their awards. Monochrome was a favourite of the evening, with Jordan Sparks looking sweetness and light in a humbug stripe high neck skater dress. Pairing it with a black pair of court shoes with skull detail, she took the fun to another, more fashionable level. Zendaya is quickly becoming a young one-to-watch for her style. Team LBD think that she can wear absolutely anything and absolutely rock it. Take this Teen Choice look for example - a slicked back super tight plait and crazily oversized earrings wouldn't look good on just anyone. But Zendaya is more than confident, showing of her figure in her tight maxi skirt dress with racy side split. We're loving the ruffled Bardot top half; a formal take on a summer favourite this year. Would you be brave enough to sport any of these styles?
