Sofia Vergara is the perfect icon; funny, talented and not to mention stunning! At the 2013 Emmy awards this incredible lady, whilst twerking, said "check it Miley!"... It's really hard not to love her!

Latina beauty Sofia has been in the spotlight for years after first being spotted on a beach in her home country of Colombia at just 17 years old. She appeared a few years later in a Pepsi advert for South America which soon became extremely popular (if you've seen it you will know why). Years later she got the job most ladies would kill for which was starring alongside David Beckham in another Pepsi advertisement! Some people get all the luck...

We chose Sofia as one of our icons not only because she's amazing (obviously) but her red carpet style is always on point. Her trademark look being dazzling full-length gowns hugging her gorgeous curves then sweeping out fishtail style. She is definitely a lady who never fails to impress! Hollywood waves, a good lipstick, dazzling gems and a show-stealing dress and you're well you on your way to the perfect Sofia-esque red carpet look!

Sofia was named one of People Magazine's '50 Most Beautiful People' and it's not difficult to see why... Can we get some of those genes please? Despite being an absolute stunner she isn't just a pretty face, Hollywood Reporter and Billboard named Sofia as one of the most influential Latinas in Hollywood, coming from a modest Colombian, Catholic background she has certainly made a name for herself. Before stardom she even studied Dentistry at the University of Colombia!
