Alexa Chung gets flirty in a polka-dot mini dress

Ever since Alexa Chung burst on to the fashion scene what seemed like several years ago, she has graced the best dressed lists in too many publications to count and Team LBD can certainly see why! The style maven has been an unstoppable trend starter and Ms. Chung's LND (Little Navy Dress) at the NME Awards this year was no exception.

The gorgeous little black dress alternative was hailed from Valentino's Pre-Fall 2012 collection and featured a bandeau neckline and a girly tiered skirting in keeping with Alexa's kooky, ladylike style. The ruffle mini dress was nipped in at the waist with black velvet belting and was finished with a cute sheer polka dot and lace overlay. Ms. Chung paired the pretty piece with black rock chick suede platform heels and her trademark tousled bedhead hair.
