All the dresses at the Skyfall premiere
From the stars of Skyfall to the Olympian guests to the D-listers (Katie Price, we're looking at you) there was something for everyone in last nights vast array of red carpet evening dresses. Black and lace were the most popular styles from the fashion elite, whilst drop-hem dresses and voluminous tulle fabrics made a strong appearance too. And if gold bodycon, seventies inspired lilac gowns and the biggest diamond earrings you've ever seen are more your thing, you won't be disappointed with Team LBD's pick of the best looks at the Skyfall world premiere in London last night.
The Bond Girls
All eyes were on Skyfall's leading ladies as they slinked down the red runway at the world premiere last night. And both lived up to their character's glamourous names in not one but two glorious evening gowns each.
Berneice Marlohe (above) who plays Bond Girl Severine in the latest instalment of the film franchise co-ordinated her dress with the red carpet in a corseted, full-length ruby number and later with what is potentially our favourite dress of the night, a black lace and sheer bodycon dress.
Secret agent actress Naomie Harris (above) may have spent the majority of Skyfall in mission-appropriate trousers and jackets but last night she stole the show in this amazing sequin blue flapper-esque bodice covered by a sexy sheer black overlay. Later in the evening Naomie went a little more low-key but seriously sexy in this black Marios Schwab halterneck net-like LBD.
Team LBD have got a lot of love for the new leading ladies but how could we forget the original Bond lovely, Miss Moneypenny a.k.a Samantha Bond who donned a gorgeous black lace evening gown with a statement black floral corsage.
Kelly Brook
The nation's favourite buxom beauty showed off all her best assets in this figure-hugging gold 1920s-inspired dress. Teamed with a cream and gold box clutch bag and vampy nails and lips Kelly looked like she was angling for a the next Bond Girl role. She definitely gets Team LBD's vote!
Darcey Bussell
Retired ballerina and Strictly Come Dancing's newest judge Darcey Bussell made quite the impression on Skyfall's star-studded carpet with this over-the-top but oh-so-right shiny black fishtail dress. The volumous hem on this dress gave Darcey's petite frame a more feminine look and her studded clutch bag and oversized diamond earrings screamed after party!
Helen McCrory
We couldn't keep this fairytale princess evening gown from you! The British actress floated down the red carpet at last night's premiere making sure all eyes were on her and her candy coloured embellished tulle dress. The sleek updo and delicate drop earrings made the look more grown-up, just.
Tulisa and the girls
The X Factor judge and her latest little muffins, Jade Ellis, Ella Henderson and Lucy Spraggan were out in full force for the paparazzi last night and they didn't disappoint with their matching all-black outfits. Jade (left) opted for this season's favourite sheer lace dress which gave her a mysterious and sexy edge whilst Tulisa toughened up her style- which, is it us or is it getting girlier and girlier?- with a black leather bodycon dress. Ella (centre) on the other hand was her usual fun and young self in a black drop hem dress with tassel detailing which could have been straight out of Boardwalk Empire. Lucy Spraggan (right) went for a rather dapper black trousers and jacket combo which really worked with her slicked back hair.
Tess Daly
We were surprised that Ms Daly didn't opt for a full-length and fabulous style, or a flesh-flashing LBD for the event but perhaps she was enjoying a night off from her dramatic Strictly wardrobe? Instead the TV presenter chose a sleek monochrome panel dress which worked to minimise her already slim figure and gave her a sexy sixties chic look. Teamed with gold cuffs and leg-lengthening nude platform shoes this is a side of Tess we could get very used to.
Victoria Pendleton
This is red carpet dressing at its very best. The soft lilac shade is perfect for Victoria's English Rose complexion and the halterneck style and flowing skirt were the perfect mix of whimsical and chic. Cycling, dancing, working it for the paps, is there anything this girl can't do?
And then there was Jordan...
For an example of how not to wear your LBD, especially when on one of the most prestigious red carpets for one of the biggest films in our lifetime, look no further than Katie Price who donned a barely-there black dip-hem 'dress' complete with over-the-knee sock-style boots and sequin clutch bag. Classy.
