How to do the perfect wedding make up

Creating dreamy wedding make-up looks comes with practice but is perfectly achievable, Carly Hobbs, make-up artist and tanner to the stars (think Strictly and X Factor glamour), says.

Here, Carly explains how to get that perfect look and the best way to start is by collecting pictures you like of yourself and in magazines. Carly explains: â€œThe ss17 bridal make-up trends are pretty, wear-able, easy to recreate and ideal for making your own; play around yourself or take pictures torn from magazines, including pictures of make-up on yourself that you love, to a make-up artist you like. â€œAlternatively visit a Benefit counter, they are amazing places to pick up new tips, skills and products - go in way before the wedding so you have time to perfect and find that amazing new season look that you love.â€

Pink

Carly, author of Supermodel Tips, said: â€œOnce upon a time pinks were thought of as childish and not so flattering; however fast forward to ss17 and everyone can rock a pink hue. It's romantic and can really warm up our complexions.â€ And for those that love matching up colours - the new monochrome colour trend will be ideal.

Carly said: "This make-up trend involves matching your eyes, lips and cheeks in varying shades of pinks.

Rose gold

Olive tone ladies or those with an English rose or medium skin tone, should head for the rose gold end of the spectrum - try Benefit Longer Powder Shadow in Call My Buff and Benefit Rockateur Famously Provocative Cheek Powder - they have warm undertones in the gold, which make them The One for you. â€œDarker or super pale skin tone owners need to opt for the cooler pinks, that are more silvery in under tone - your best bets here are Benefit Longer Powder Shadow in Pinky Swear and Benefit Dew Liquid Blush. Intense looks

After something more intense? Carly suggests working your shadow across the lid and then taking it under the lash line as well whilst contouring the socket of the lid with a slightly darker shade blending it gently. Her go to for this is playing around with the blusher shades from the Benefit Blushing' Babe palette as eyeshadows.

Emotional eyes tip
