Edith Bowman channels vintage glamour in lace dress

Edith Bowman is of course used to being in the public eye, but usually presenting awards for other people or as a radio DJ hiding her kooky dress sense in the air waves. So last week Ms. Bowman stepped into the spotlight in an absolutely stunning lace dress for the 2012 Empire Film Awards in London just to remind us what we've been missing. The satin cream and black midi dress consisted of a slightly longer sheer floral lace overlay and was flatteringly nipped in at the waist which ruched the skirting, creating a more girly silhouette. We especially love the cute winged capped short sleeves which gave the dress a vintage feel. The ensemble was topped off with black patent platform courts and a slick of Hollywood siren red lipstick.
