Giles Deacon dresses Miss Piggy for The Muppets premiere

Yesterday we brought you the best little black dresses hot off the red carpet at the National Television Awards. Today, Team LBD bring you our favourite designer-celebrity collaboration to date.

Behold, Miss Piggy in Giles Deacon for The Muppets premiere in London last night! Miss Piggy is well know for her glamorous dress sense and deep love of all things designer -with various high-end collaborations under her belt including Louboutin, Louis Vuitton and Chanel- so we were expecting something outstanding for her latest close up. And we were not disappointed. Giles Deacon dressed our favourite farmyard fashionista in a suitably glam metallic dress, straight from his Spring/Summer 2012 catwalk. The dress is made of silver leather, with hand cut leather-fringing (flapper fashion at its best!) and is embroidered with Swarovski Elements. Oooh ahhh! Teamed with her trademark blonde ringlets and black gloves chic enough to rival Audrey Hepburn, Miss Piggy looked hot to trot!

As the fesitivies got underway last night for this hugely anticipated premiere Kermit the Frog kept Twitter fashionably in the know. He tweeted "Miss Piggy's dress was designed by British designer Giles Deacon. Thanks @GilesGilesGiles! If Pig happy, Frog Happy". And later on, "I'm almost ready to head to the screening.
