Katie Holmes proves it’s not Mission Impossible to work three lovely LBD trends at once

Last week Katie Holmes sported a cutesy Holmes & Yang LBD to the New York premiere of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol to support her husband, Tom Cruise.
Team LBD love how the dress managed to incorporate three separate trends whilst remaining Holmes-esque i.e. chic but understated.
The sheer panelling on the collar and the sleeves added muted sex appeal to the outfit, whilst the polka-dots on the sheer sleeves and body of the dress counterbalanced this with a cutesy and youthful effect. The feminine appeal of the outfit was further amped up with the tiered ruffles on the dress and served to emphasise Ms. Holmes' petite figure.
