It might be a trim, a fabric, an embellishment or a silhouette that sparks inspiration for a retro twist on a modern LBD, or vice versa, a modern black dress that's given a touch of vintage appeal. We aim to relive the glamour as seen on the silver screen or gracing the red carpet, in the hope that fabulous is indeed transferable. Transferable to our own occasions and events, we want to take a little of that a-list glamour for ourselves and exude true style. Picking a dress often starts with a mood, it depends on how you're feeling and the impression you want to make on the night. The party of the season calls for the attitude and edge of supermodel Kate Moss, a formal affair the sophistication of Kate Middleton, whilst a special event might require the a-list touch of Cate Blanchett. And sometimes, we simply just want to feel like Audrey Hepburn, our ultimate style icon. These are the influences that thread together the in-house designed Little Black Dress Collection. We welcome new season dresses inspired by some of the world's biggest current stars including world-dominating singer Taylor Swift, actress Anne Hathaway and Chanel favourite Kristen Stewart. Team LBD has profiled all of these new icons and will be releasing the features in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled! Anne-Hathaway Anne Hathaway, 86th Annual Academy Awards Oscars 2014.
