Last night Team LBD mingled with celebrities, press and bloggers to celebrate the launch of our fabulous new Little Black Dress Collection at the iconic Hotel Café Royal in London.
After the success of our first launch party in Manchester last week (catch up here!), we were ecstatic once again with the fantastic turn out and amazing response to our 18 new and exclusive LBDs. From the exquisite setting, the vibrant atmosphere, flowing Champagne and glamorous guest list, see what went down at the Little Black Dress London launch party.
The Guests
From fashion bloggers and celebrity stylists, editors from the press and the hoi polloi of the fashion world, there was no doubting our Little Black Dress party made a stylish impression. And we saw a few famous faces turn out, including Made in Chelsea's Lucy Watson and the lovely ladies, author Giovanna Fletcher and model Georgia Horsley.

The Location
It was certainly a setting that captured the spirit of Little Black Dress; the beautifully restored authentic Louis XVI datails of the Oscar Wilde bar at the Hotel Café Royal was the perfect setting to show off our new Collection. Previous guests of the bar include Mick Jagger, Elizabeth Taylor and David Bowie, and with the opulent decor, plush leather chairs and ambient lighting we're not surprised why, and it set the scene perfectly for a night of sophistication and elegance.
The Drinks
Needless to say the Champagne was flowing all night long! And as well as buckets of Champagne on ice we were treated to some amazing wines and a selection of sweet and fiery cocktails. Fortunately the delectable selection of canapés on offer helped to soak up the flowing alcohol; from quirky little Croque Monsieurs to Cornish crab rolls, mini chorizo and confit onion Wellingtons and strawberry eclairs from their very own patisserie next door.
The canapés were clearly a hit...
The Collection
The dresses were certainly the focal point of the evening, and we were blown away by the positive response from people with popular phrases of the night including "I can't believe how great the quality is at such a low price" and "I can imagine these on the rails of Selfridges". Needless to say we were glowing all evening! All named after style icons past and present, the 18 dresses are also divided into moods, from glamorous to sexy and unique, so everyone could find a dress to match their mood. If you haven't seen it yet (where have you been) check it out here.
The Celebrities
Last night we were pleased to see a few famous faces come along and even more ecstatic to see some of them in our dresses! Lucy Watson turned up the heat in our Gemma Dress, £90, and looked absolutely incredible, see more pictures and read about it here. Whilst we also saw gorgeous model and dancer Daniel Peazer of the Idle Lane blog looking stunning in our Kate dress, £110, which she teamed with black strappy heels and a black clutch.
