The biggest night in the show business calendar and a fashion show to rival any fashion week, to say we were pleased with last night's Oscars 2014 red carpet is an understatement. Pulling in the crème de la crème of A-list celebrities and the greatest designers on earth desperate to dress them, the gowns were a breathtaking spectacle and it was clear to see nude embellished gowns and the little black dress were the leading styles on the night.
Cate Blanchett took home the
Best Actress Award and won the style stakes with her beautiful Giorgio Armani gown, whilst further down the red carpet Jennifer Lawrence took another Oscars tumble in her red Dior dress. Along with Miss Lawrence, Lupita Nyong'o was one of the only other stars to wear any colour and she looked sensational in her pastel blue Prada dress as she collected her
Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in
12 Years a Slave.
