'Punk' meets red carpet dressing at the Met Ball

The theme of this year's Met Gala Ball was 'Punk: Chaos to Couture' and that meant our favourite black red carpet gown was a key feature at the star-studded event. While some celebs went to town on the Gothically gorgeous theme with luxe lace, mesh detailing and seriously smouldering eye make-up others gave their outfits their own, off-piste twist, (Gwynnie, we're looking at you!). If we'd been lucky enough to grace the Met Gala red carpet we'd like to think we'd have gone down the same route as Jen with a statement black textured dress (very SS13), wow-worthy platforms and the addition of a funeral-esque black netted fascinator.
