The best dresses from the BAFTAs

The glamour squad descended on London's Royal Opera House last night for one of the film industry's main events – the 2016 BAFTA Awards. The stars of Hollywood and the British Film Industry turned out in their most sartorial attire to celebrate the occasion and make their entrance to the red carpet.

Nominees Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara turned heads in their usual style. Winner of Best Supporting Actress, Kate Winslet opted for a sleek LBD by designer Antonio Berardi whilst Cate Blanchett stunned in a unique, custom embellished gown by Alexander McQueen.
