The Grammy's 2023

The Grammy's 2023 kicked off in style in LA last night (Sunday February 5 ) as celebrities from across the globe turned out in all their outrageous elegance. As far as outfits went, some played it safe, others, well let's say they showed off their more wacky creative flair (Sam Smith and Lizzo). Read on for more on last night, jaw dropping red carpet.

Beyonce, fashionably late wearing metallics

Queen Bey missed the red carpet due to traffic ‚ yep, we can relate. She arrives wearing a stunning black Bardot long gown. Later she was seen dressed on stage wearing metallics and ruffles. Beyonce showed off a dramatic thigh high split as she accepted her awards (the first time a single artist has scooped 32 Grammys, go Bey!).

We‚re loving Beyonce‚ metallic trend which seems to be a fashion lust-have set to stay on many of the recent catwalks. The Gucci gown features a gold Bardot strapless corset with a silver ruffle midi skirt. Black opera gloves finish off the high drama look. On her own Instagram pictures, Beyonce sports an outfit change.

Wearing the Blues ‚The Grammy's 2023

Blue was definitely the thing at The Grammy's2023. Taylor Swift could be seen wearing a two piece cropped top and shimmering long skirt in Royal blue dancing her support to her ex, Harry Styles as he performed It is Us on stage. Whilst Cardi B wore the stunning blue Gaurav Gupta dress only just seen on the catwalks of Paris Fashion Week just days ago.

 

She Wore Black – Anything but Fragile

Fun and fearless. The Vegas rapper Doja Cat wore an eyebrow raising Versace Latex outfit as she arrived at The Grammy's 2023. Her black dress was the talk of the town when Doja Cat slinked onto the red carpet with menacing gravitas (spiderlike some has said). Soul artist Norah Jones also wore black as did singer Sheryl Crow and Charli D‚ Amelio proving that the LBD is still high up on celebrity style lists. Singer and Brazilian TV host Anitta looked amazing in Vintage black Versace with Tiffany Jewellery - now that is a gown we are in raptures over.

Red and Orange Rules ‚ Sam Smith, Kim Petras and Lizzo

Red and voluminous was the order of the day for singers Sam Smith and Lizzo at The Grammy‚ 2023. Both appeared to favour hot colours with an emphasis on more is marvellous‚ Lizzo's orange Dolce & Gabbana ensemble was fabulous with a floral theme featuring a hooded cape of flowers.

Sam Smith wore a red cape with a high ruffle collar with top hat and red cane. Kim Petras wore a red mini dress. They picked up an award for their Unholy, a smash hit on TikTok taking the world by storm.

So finally, in summing up, a good night was had by all (except perhaps Ben Affleck, who was seen slightly disconnected from proceedings, maybe his collar was too tight?)
