The Little Black Dress Cocktail Party

Canapes, cocktails, ball gowns, party dresses, music, make-up and YOU, that's what made up the Little Black Dress Cocktail Party last night in Manchester and that's what made it the event of the year for all at Team LBD. A big thank you to everyone that helped make the night a huge success from the terrific Team LBD and Photolink Creative Group to the lovely bloggers old and new that attended. If you didn't make it here's a snippet of what went on... The Ultimate LBD Last night was the grand reveal of The Ultimate LBD. Designed by Hannah Marie-Hutchison who has made dresses for the likes of Britney Spears and Cheryl Cole this piece is all that is great about the timeless, versatile, figure-flattering LBD. The exclusives We're really proud to hold collections from high street favourites like Reiss and Rise Fashion to independent boutiques like Kate Fearnley, Kelly Ewing and L.2.Mae. And it's great to have some exclusive, can't-buy-anywhere else collections from great brands like Yanny, Bielle and BLESSUS. Last night we showed our gorgeous guests just how amazing these exclusive pieces were before they'd even hit the website. The LBD make-over From Audrey Hepburn to Marilyn Monroe we drool over our LBD icons not just because of their impeccably chic outfit choices but for the whole look. So last night the lovely ladies from Manchester College were in the make-up studio to complete our guest's LBD look. The dressing room We had a dressing room set up complete with our best Team LBD stylists and an array of jewellery and shoes to go with the dresses our guests chose from the rails. Everyone looked lovely in the pieces they tried on and we've got lots more pictures to come! The photo booth There's no point in being all dressed up with no-one to see, so once our guests were glammed up they were snapped by one of Team LBD's very best photographers. The cocktail Our guests sipped the LBD cocktail (you can get the recipe here) last night as well as Mojitos and Cosmos from our friends at the Manchester Drinks Company and enjoyed a selection of canapes and cakes. The goody bags Who doesn't love a goody bag!?
