You read it right. Our feline friends are going to be clawing their way into our wardrobes in a big way for Spring/Summer 12 emblazoned on everything from cute collared little black dresses, to our bags to our shoes.

Thanks to Victoria Beckham's (almost sold-out!) youthful new cat-centric collection, and feline footwear extraordinaire Charlotte Olympia, creator of the cat face slippers, this year is set to be the year of the cat! VB's now iconic cat print dress has already graced the designer's own svelte silhouette as well as that of her daughter, Harper Seven (yep, she made a mini one!) and has received the royal thumbs up from super-stylish fashion maven, Katy Perry.

Charlotte Olympia, who designed the runway shoes for VB's runway show, has set feline footwear a fire with her gorgeous cat slippers and the latest addition to her collection of skyscraper heels complete with kitten paws, and print. High street brands like Topshop and Miss Selfridge have further amplified the trend for the masses by making some puurfect copy-cat (sorry!) pieces.
