Victoria Pendleton struts her stuff in a classic little black dress

She's taken to the red carpet like a duck to water and so would we if we had the enviable Olympian physique Victoria Pendleton boasts. And we were thrilled to see that at the Sports Personality of the Year awards this week the new fashionista strutted her stuff in our favourite classic little black dress. Victoria's black dress was a traditional sleeveless shift style with a slight pencil fit, which hugged her amazing body perfectly. The LBD featured a curve-enhancing pep-hem which added interest to the otherwise sleek and simple frock. Now accessories-wise we've learned to love Victoria like we do K-Middy- always understated, always simple, and always effective. But this week the cycling champion dallied with some rather 'out there' shoes! The chunky buckle high heels were just the right amount of retro and a good helping of statement, making them the perfect addition to her LBD. With a gold chain shoulder bag and gold jewellery this is one look worth recreating.
