YOUR SHAPE
If you're body shape is boyish then you're likely to have smaller boobs, wider shoulders and a less curvaceous body than perhaps you'd like, but don't worry Team LBD is here to create some curves. Some of our favourite celebrities have a boyish shape but you'd never know, just look at the beautiful Cameron Diaz or the lovely Keira Knightly, who both manage to dazzle on the red carpet and disguise their athletic figures with clever, hourglass-enhancing evening dresses. And we've got lots of those available at LittleBlackDress.co.uk...
TOP TIPS
Left to right: Bernshaw Suzette Dress, £330; Bill and Mar Floral Peplum Dress, £60; Kate Fearnly Fontaine Dress in Multicolour Print, £185.
The peplum style dress is still reigning supreme this season, and we've got athletic body shapes like you to thank for that. The perfect way to fake an ample chest, waist and bottom the extra fabric around the waist of the peplum dress will create volume where there isn't any and is an easy and quick fix for you.
Left to right: Louche Lund Dress in Floral Print, £55; Hedonia Coral Maria Dress £30; Forever Unique Georgie Dress in Coral, £220.
A popular choice for day-to-night style this season the humble skater dress will help create the illusion of an hourglass body shape. The flared skirt and waist-whittling middle will ensure you have hips and a bottom to be proud of. Add heels for legs that go on for miles!
From left to right: Kate Fearnly Holly Polka Dot Pencil Dress in Yellow, £185; Gorgeous Couture Trinity Dress in Red, £172; Gina Bacconi Jersey Dress with Beaded Embellishment, £139.30.
If it's a buxom bust you're after, then choosing a detailed neckline such as a cowl will give you extra curves where you want them. Alternatively a chunky necklace will draw attention away from your smaller chest, so get accessorising.
