Welcome back to our favourite beauty expert, Carly Hobbs - stylist to the stars and author of Supermodel Tips! She has collaborated with TeamLBD to give make-up looks for prom this SS17. Carly gives us the skills to recreate the feline flick - catwalk anyone?

This is a match made in heaven. A nod to old school movie stars with a modern update. Perfect for everyone that loves to make a statement - however if you're not used to a bold lip, avoid this and let the flick fly solo with a nude lip gloss instead like Emma Watson's.

For your flick prep the lid with concealer such as Bare Minerals Blemish Remedy Concealer and a neutral, powder eyeshadow like Bare Minerals Matte Eye Shadow in Pebble - this stops it slipping or melting into the socket crease. Start your line from the outer corner where the lash lines meet, use a flat, small angled brush and Bare Minerals Lash Domination Ink Liner in Intense Black to do this, taking the flick out as far as you like.

Then bring the flick back in towards the upper lashes in a triangle style shape. Take this line all the way along the upper lash liner, pressing the colour in by pressing the brush in horizontally to help you keep it steady.

Then go back and fill your triangle in with black. Perfect the shape and flick with cotton buds dipped in Bare Minerals Oil Obsessed Total Cleansing Oil.

Once happy 'set' your liner by tracing over all your hard work with the matte powder with Bare Minerals Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo.

Lip-wise prep your pout with brown sugar and oil to ditch dead skin cells and flaky patches; next clean it over and outline your lip with a complimentary lip liner, before using on the rest of the lip as well - this gives your lippy something to hold on to.
