Whether you're a born and bred Londoner or a fashionista flirting with the capital for Fashion Week, here are the hottest haunts you need to visit (in your LBD, of course!) courtesy of the coolest chicks on the bar-block..

Barts

 

What: Hidden within a block of portered flats in Chelsea lies this wicked bar. Ring the bell and stick the hot chicks at the front to ensure admission, et voila - welcome to this delicious den of anything and everything. First port of call: the bar, they experiment hard in here and will put anything from salmon to Stilton in your drink, but trust us it works. Next, hit the fancy dress box there is something for everyone in this treasure trove.

Evans & Peel

What: Think Cluedo, Sherlock and 1920s Prohibition and you are on the right track. First things first, sleuth past the detective and if he likes the look of you he'll swing back the bookcase to reveal a dark, sultry den of debauchery. Make eye contact with the bartender and subtly order drinks (BarChick recommends A n Ts) and stay for the smoked food- it's as good as the couture concoctions. Cellar Door

What: It's not every day that you stroll down the stairs of a men's public toilet looking for fun, but if you want good cocktails, drag queens and some good old fashioned snuff then this is the answer. It boasts live acts every night and the sexiest loos in London, seeing really is believing down here. The cocktails are adventurous and the snuff comes in many a flavour, just mind your LBD around the minty white scents.

Beaufort Bar at The Savoy

What: This beautiful bar is dripping in gold (40ks to be precise) and glamour, so if you are dressed to impress then this is the place to drop your cash. If it's pay day, then work your way through the vast list of Champagne by the glass or alternatively sink head first into some of their cocktails. This place is the definition of decadence.

Bob Bob Ricard

What: It's a vividly coloured, flamboyant and surreal take on the 1930s in here. With mirrored ceilings, a backgammon floor and a lot of gold, conversation won't run dry in these beautiful surroundings. Slide into your own train-like booth, press your Champagne button and a glass will be delivered in seconds. Hit the restaurant after and you'll be spoilt for choice especially with their all day breakfasts. What's not to love?

Purl

What: It's not the easiest to find, or get into (so make sure you book) but once you're down here it's New York Prohibition at its best. This place is run by the Willy Wonkas of the cocktail world: grab yourself the menu slash faux aged parchment bookmark and you'll find all sorts of funky concoctions. There are lots of nooks and crannies, so take a hot date and hide away for the evening‚

Experimental Cocktail Club

What: Keep a look out for their shabby chic black door with a splash of red paint on it, it certainly isn't obvious. Set over two stories of a townhouse, with good beats in the background, the vibe is super laid back Parisian cool. Dress sexy, you need to impress the hot French guys to get in. The cocktails are exquisite and unusual too, but if you want to go that little bit further then order from the 'vintage variety' but bring the Amex, these start at £150!

Sushisamba

What: Perched on top of the Heron Tower lies Sushisamba, home to amazing views, delicious food and incredible cocktails. Head outside on to the roof terrace and you'll find the bar and breath-taking views overlooking the Shard and the Gherkin. Sit at the dark wood sweeping bar where a beautiful orange tree adorned with lights is the centrepiece of the drinks cabinet and the drinks are almost as pretty.

The Nightjar

What: This bar is the best thing to happen to Shoreditch since the trilby. Head down the stairs and you'll quickly feel like you are in a New York prohibition speakeasy, so dress up and grab yourself a Manhattan. The drinks are simply amazing, varied and creative and the list is lengthy so take your time, plus the table service is perfect. What really makes this place is the live music. Enjoy.

Dabbous

What: Upstairs they serve fancy stripped back British food, but it's the badass cocktails in the industrial rock 'n' roll styled basement bar that you should check out. Drink amazing cocktails at communal tables surrounded by exposed, industrial brickwork. And put a bad case of the munchies to rest with snacks from the small bites menu- the boneless, crispy chicken wings are to die for.
